Damir Bersinic
As an IT Pro Advisor for Microsoft Canada, Damir is passionate about reaching out to and engaging with the IT Pro community across Canada. He focuses on working with a broad range of audiences within the IT Pro community to foster relationships and convey Microsoft technologies and solutions. He is proud to be able to leverage his real life hands-on experience to relate to the challenges faced by the IT Pro community today.
Damir is an integral part of the Microsoft team that drives awareness, education and training through events and directly engaging with Canada's professional communities, including IT managers, infrastructure specialists and architects as well as systems integrators, independent software vendors (ISVs) and community leaders.
Before joining Microsoft Canada, Damir was Data Architect for a large building materials company, as well as a long-time consultant focusing on database and application integration issues. Before moving to Toronto he headed a Microsoft Certified Partner organization in Ottawa which provided consulting, training and systems integration services to private and public sector clients.
Damir is also an accomplished author with titles on SQL Server, Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003, Active Directory, and Oracle to his credit. He holds a large number of industry certifications including those from Microsoft, Oracle and other organizations
Daniel Zaborski
Daniel Zaborski's over 10 years of experience bridging sales and technical services have provided him a foundation from which he has delivered training, support, analysis and pre-sales services both within Canada and around the world. His experience with Software Development Tools within IBM, and partner-focused consulting on behalf of CGI, provide both the technical background, and the soft interpersonal skills so fundamental to relationship-building. These same skill-sets will come into play in conveying both the technological and the business benefits of Windows Intune to the Microsoft Partner Ecosystem.
Outside of work, Daniel is an avid fan of travel, and cruises in particular. He has spent 98 days at sea, with favourite stops including Alaska, Beijing, both coasts of Russia, Istanbul, and ports throughout the Black Sea.
