Tonight we will have presentations about the newly released Small Business Server 2011.

The two Amigos, Fred Gregory and Calvin McLennan team up again for an SBS 2011 show.
First off, Calvin McLennan reprises parts of the sessions he presented at the Microsoft/DELL SBS2011 Launch in Toronto. Sessions were on new sales and services options available and necessary to replace that the 'Cloud' may take away, as well as a discussion about what Migration process to use or a new build option. Issues seen (not a re-read of the Migration Whitepapers) in real life migrations to date will also be shown.

Calvin is an SBS MVP and loves to talk SBS!
Next up, Fred Gregory will talk about his experiences doing a P2V conversion of an SBS 2003 server in preparation for a migration to SBS 2011.
One of the best ways to test an SBS migration is to do a test run in a virtual environment. But how do you get the physical server O/S into that environment? Fred Gregory will review how he virtualized his SBS 2003 server using free tools from Microsoft. He'll cover using SysInternals Disk2VHD to convert the live server hard drive to a VHD file, configuring the Virtual Machine in Hyper-V, and tweaking the converted server to run in a virtual environment.
